April 2021 – Phase 3 Planned Surveys (Topographical, Ground Investigation, and Environmental)
Following the recent publication of the Preferred Route Corridor for both the Ardee to Castleblayney and Clontibret to Border Road Schemes, we are progressing the next phase of the project which involves the design of the new road and the assessment of the environmental impacts.
The N2 Project Team will be progressing with a range of topographical, ground investigation and environmental site surveys to inform this process and to determine the exact details of the land take, drainage, earthworks, junction and side road design and property impacts.
The Project Team would like to sincerely thank those who submitted their feedback and engaged with them over the phone, via email or at meetings during the Emerging Preferred Route Corridor public consultation which was held between August and October 2020. The Project Team are still contactable by phone or email, should you have any further queries.
